Clay Young an Dave Renaud have been working at Fiddleheads playing jazz brunches for over a decade. This project captured four Jazz Brunches live providing a good selection of material for the CD.
Dave Renaud is a regular around the Ottawa music scene playing pit orchestra, NAC pops concerts, shows, and commercial freelance engagements. His Dr. Jazz band is busy around Ottawa. Dave studied orchestral clarinet at Ottawa university, and jazz saxophone at Humber college. As crossover player between styles, and a clarinet major he brings a rich sound together with a strong technique to present jazz spanning a full palette of voices on clarinet.
