Composer, pianist, teacher, Karine Gagnon uses music as an
international second langage.
Beginning composing at the age of 2, she started piano lessons at 7 with
Jacqueline Evers at A
la portée des sons(where she later teached 10 years). At 17 years
old, she enters in the Conservatoire
de musique du Québec à Trois-Rivières until DESM2 (Master's Degree)
in piano with Michel Kozlovsky and composition (fugue, counterpoint,
harmony) with Gilles Bellemare.

She composed an incredible quantity of works for young pianists, including
a complete collection of exercices, studies and repertoire, in a
collection called "Le Prelude", actually used in music school as
required elements for examinations.
